Creamer has nine career wins but hasn't won a tournament since 2010, when she won the U.S. Women's Open.

"This is great," Creamer said. "I love this feeling, and I haven't felt it in a while. I've normally been chasing the leaders. But this is great, this is right where I want to be and hopefully I'll have a good day tomorrow and see what happens."

Creamer and Recari are three strokes ahead of Lexi Thompson, Chie Arimura and Jacqui Concolino, who are in a three-way tie for third at 204.

"There's still 18 holes left and a lot could happen," Recari said. "So you just really try to stay in the present as much as you can, go shot by shot and stay patient, like I did today. I had some really good chances that didn't go in, but I stayed patient out there. It was great to finish with a birdie-birdie [on 17 and 18]."

The final round of the Marathon Classic begins at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Highland Meadows. Creamer, Recari and Thompson will begin from the first hole at 11:20 a.m.
