Ochmanek ignites Titans over Lima Sr.

LIMA - Ryan Ochmanek scored twice and St. John's Jesuit won for the first time this season, 24-7 over Lima Senior yesterday.

Ochmanek scored on runs of 1 and 6 yards. Clay Huber scored on a two-yard run and Nathan Parseghian kicked a 29-yard field goal.

The Titans (1-3) ran for 253 yards and added 72 in the air for a total of 325.

Lima Senior (1-3) was limited to 110 total yards.

Jeremy Wright scored on an eight-yard run for the Spartans.

Pat Manders was just about perfect in leading Cardinal Stritch.

Manders hit 15 of 16 passes for 249 yards and three touchdowns - and scored on a one-yard pulnge.

Bryan Gasser caught six of Manders' passes for 110 yards, including touchdowns of 36 and 21 yards.

Manders' other TD toss went for 47 yards to Ryan Ingram.

Jake Shank gained 129 yards on 16 carries and scored on runs of 7 and 64 yards.

The other Stritch TD came on a three-yard run by Chris Kamelesky.

Stritch (3-1) held Buena Vista (0-4) to minus-five yards rushing.
