St. John's Jesuit quarterback Mickey Cassidy threw four touchdown passes in the first half as the Titans carved out a 42-6 win over Woodward yesterday.

By virtue of the victory, St. John's (7-3, 4-2 City League) slips into the state playoffs.

Cassidy (6-of-9 for 127 yards) threw TD passes of 26 yards to Austin Mayberry, 29 to Mitch Bruss, 28 to Sean Clark and 7 to Kyle Roberts. The Titans also amassed 271 yards rushing on 53 attempts, including TD runs by Brian Ramsey (54 yards) and Zach Macqueen (1).

The Polar Bears (2-8, 1-5) rushed for 161 yards on 34 tries, but their only score came on a Nick Stamper pass of six yards to Dajuan Lavelle in the fourth quarter.

Each team lost a fumble and St. John's Elliott Greene had the game's only interception.

Ken Davis ran for two touchdowns and threw for another as the Bulldogs jumped to a 34-14 lead at the half.

Davis scored on TD runs of 20 and 5 yards and threw a 60-yard touchdown pass to Jonathen Goldsmith as Scott (2-8, 2-4 City) gathered 593 total yards to 297 for Waite (2-8, 2-4).

Toby McBride scored on two touchdown runs for the Indians, who go a 10-of-23 passing performance from Nick Mauder, who hit Michael Derr for a 20-yard score but threw three interceptions.

Anthony Glover rushed 16 times for 138 yards and a TD for the Bulldogs.

Billy Collins threw touchdown passes to Sharone White (30 yards), Asante White (50 yards) and Jared Hunter (45 yards) as the Spartans (5-5, 3-3 City) defeated the Cowboys.

Tim Taylor had 14 tackles for Libbey (1-9, 0-6).

MILLBURY - Wes Blank ran for 107 yards and a touchdown on offense and intercepted two Wildcat passes on defense, pacing the Flyers (5-5, 4-3 Suburban Lakes League).

Jeff Schulte kicked the extra point that provided the winning margin for Lake, which rushed for 210 yards.

Adam Egert ran 16 times for 65 yards and a touchdown for Woodmore (5-5, 3-4).
