Miracola's 24 key to victory by Whiteford

PETERSBURG, Mich. - Anthony Miracola popped in 24 points and Whiteford made 9 of 11 free throws down the stretch as the Bobcats downed Summerfield 55-45 last night.

The Bobcats (17-0, 11-0 Tri-County) held the Bulldogs to just three points in the second quarter.

Justin Thompson scored 12 points and Mark Thorn had 11 for Summerfield (9-8, 8-3).

ERIE, Mich. - Manuel Bowman scored 31 points, including 13 in the first quarter, as 14-2 Blissfield topped 8-9 Erie Mason 65-59.

Matt Tageson and Aaron Roelfs each scored 16 for Erie Mason. Roelfs also had 10 rebounds.

PORT CLINTON - Oak Harbor shocked Port Clinton - slowly - with a 22-20 upset victory, outscoring the Redskins 7-2 in the fourth quarter.

Kevin Favro led Oak Harbor (7-10, 5-9 SBC) with nine points. Drew Walker and Andrew Lemmon each had eight for Port Clinton (16-2, 11-2).

HARTVILLE, Ohio - Brian Dunnett scored 17 and Steve Morris added 13 as Emmanuel Baptist (9-11) crushed Kingsway Christian 76-31 to advance to the Association of Christian Schools International regional final at 2 p.m. today.

t Holgate got by Edgerton 58-55 in overtime as Charlie Kelly scored 23.

t Drew Bauman scored 31 as Fostoria topped Norwalk 81-74.

t Tristan Tagliapetra scored 21 as Van Buren edged Liberty-Benton 47-46.

t Rafael Manriquez led Ayersville with 15 in a 74-61 win over Hicksville.

t Nick Engel scored 20 points but Defiance fell to Wapakoneta 70-61.

t Edon beat Pettisville 73-64 as Mark Smith had 17. Jordon Bruner led Pettisville with 19.

t Zach Boehnlein scored 26 and Sam Boehnlein 21 as St. Wendelin beat Mohawk 77-75.

t Harris Kinnard scored 15 points, including four in overtime, as Monroe SMCC beat Riverview 38-29.

t Jason Holubik scored 20 to lead Deerfield over Ida 60-54.
