Whiteford wins title

OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. - Anthony Miracola scored 28 points and Whiteford defeated Whitmore Lake 78-63 last night, clinching a Tri-County title in the process.

Joe Gust and Bobby Plumer each added 16 for Whiteford (18-0, 12-0). Jared Moore had 23 for Whitmore Lake (11-7, 8-4).

Whiteford, which hit 25 of 30 foul shots to the visitors' 5 of 12, broke free in the fourth quarter by outscoring Whitmore Lake 27-13.

HUDSON, Mich. - Kyle Upchurch and Jared England each scored 16 as Erie Mason beat Hudson 57-48.

SALINE, Mich. - Saline hit 28 of 36 foul shots to Bedford's 9 of 12 as the Mules dropped a 59-55 decision.

Jason Crooks led Bedford with 21 and Jake Welch and Brian Champine each added 10.

Manny Bowman scored 26 as Blissfield beat Clinton 76-63.

Nick Notario scored 26 as Monroe beat Highland Park 59-48.

Harris Kennard scored 15 as Monroe SMCC beat New Boston Huron 71-43.

Tiffin Calvert got by Old Fort 56-54 as Tony Mass scored 21.

Andrew Lemmon scored 20 points as Port Clinton beat Margaretta 51-43.

Oak Harbor beat Edison 53-37 despite having no player in double figures. Rob McGuire scored nine.

David Babione scored 21 as Fremont St. Joe topped North Baltimore 64-53.

Matt Copus, Brook Crawford and Adam Smith each had 10 as Liberty-Benton defeated Hardin Northern 60-26.

Zach Boehnlein and Tommy Wade each scored 15 as St. Wendelin beat Arcadia 74-30.

Garrett Miller led Pettisville with 19 in a 71-57 win over Hilltop.

Fayette topped North Central 50-44 as Heath Armstrong scored 14.
