Maumee Valley tennis is 2nd in state team tourney
10/20/2003COLUMBUS - Maumee Valley Country Day lost in the championship yesterday of the Ohio Tennis Coaches Association Division II team state tournament.
The Hawks fell to Shaker Heights Hathaway Brown 3-1.
In the semifinals, Maumee Valley defeated Dayton Oakwood 3-2.
The Hawks, coached by Mark Faber, included singles players Shweta Pai, Amrita Padda, Friederike Ahlers and doubles players Jenny Pesin, Anita Dewan, Christine Commons, and Sonya Naganathan.
