Lemmon scores 32 as Port Clinton rolls

PORT CLINTON - Andrew Lemmon scored 20 of his game-high 32 points in the third quarter as Port Clinton blew the game open en route to an 89-34 Sandusky Bay Conference victory last night over Sandusky Perkins.

Drew Walker added 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Redskins (4-0, 2-0).

Aarone Richardson tallied 10 points to lead the Pirates.

ST. MARY S 59, DEFIANCE 55

DEFIANCE - L.J. Helton (14), Austin Keel (12), Will Swary (12) and Graham Wagner (11) all scored in double figures for the Bulldogs (0-2, 0-1 WBL), but it wasn t enough.

Scott Vossler paced the visitors with 16.

MONCLOVA CHRISTIAN 73, TEMPLE CHRISTIAN 38

Derek Merrin threw in 26 points, going 6-of-10 from 3-point range, and added 13 rebounds for Monclova (3-1). Matt Velazquez chipped in 22 points and eight assists and Brian Boes added 14.

Jon Cuff had 18 for Temple (3-1).

FINDLAY - Chase Berry scored 17 points and Nathan Hyde had 10 more for the Eagles (4-0, 2-0 BVC).

Tyler Bradic led the Rockets (3-2, 1-1) with seven points.

WEST UNITY - Mark Smith poured in 31 points and Brandon Fisher added 13 for the Bombers (3-1, 2-0 BBC).

Ryan Dick and Lukas Schaffner scored 14 each for the Cadets (0-3, 0-2), who made 17 of 23 free-throw tries to Edon s 11-of-19.

ONSTED, Mich. - Jimmy Wilkins scored eight of his 16 points in the deciding third quarter, when the Wildcats outscored the Royals 20-12.

Ryan Terry threw in 30 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for Blissfield (2-2, 1-1).
