Ulis helps Waite stay unbeaten

Shareese Ulis scored 16 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead Waite to a 65-47 win over Northwood yesterday.

Brianna Washington and Tatyana McNeal added 14 points apiece for the Indians (5-0).

Brittany Bogart paced Northwood (5-2) with 17 points.

Waite pulled away from Northwood with a 24-8 third-quarter advantage.

ST. URSULA 71, WOODWARD 29

Eleven girls scored for the Arrows, and the Polar Bears committed 48 turnovers.

Joan Anderson paced St. Ursula (6-0, 4-0 City League) with 14 points and Julia Bockert added 11.

Charlotte Garcia scored 12 points for Woodward (0-6, 0-4).

EAST TECH 61, LIBBEY 37

Special Jennings led the visitors from Cleveland with 19 points. Angelica Jackson and Jessica Allison scored eight points apiece for Libbey.

Liz Tansey scored 17, Mandi Lisk had 11 and visiting Southview hit six treys to Perrysburg's one. Tiffany Calevro and Nichole Diller scored seven apiece for the Jackets.

Niki McCoy scored 20 points and Rianna Miller added 19 for Northview (6-1, 4-0 NLL). Crystal Sloan led Rossford with eight.

Alex Noble led Springfield (4-2, 2-2 NLL) with 13 points and nine Blue Devils scored.

Maumee (1-5, 0-4) got 12 from Lindsey Diegel and 10 from Shelly Warner.

BOWLING GREEN - Amanda Kern led Bowling Green (1-5, 1-3) with 13 points, Lisa Chalupa added 11 and Katie Korsnack 10. Kelsey Nagel led Anthony Wayne (2-5, 2-2) with eight.

BG outscored AW 15-2 in the third quarter to break away from a halftime tie.

OTSEGO 67, GENOA 51

TONTOGANY - Erin Limes paved the way for Otsego (6-0, 4-0 SLL) with 22 points. Jennie McVey added 13, Ashley Murphy scored 12 and Stephanie Asmus recorded nine points and six assists.

Jill Nissen scored 21 points for Genoa (1-5, 1-3) and Brittany Darling dropped in 12.

Otsego jumped out of the gates with a 23-2 lead in the first quarter and held on for the win.

BLOOMDALE - Kelly Wagner paced Elmwood with 14 points as 10 Royals scored.

MILLBURY - Lindsay Heidebrink dropped in one of two free throws with no time remaining on the clock for Lake's overtime victory. Stephanie Geisel led the Flyers with 10 points.

Woodmore's Megan Abbey sent the game into overtime with a jumper with 25 seconds to go in regulation. Stephanie Constantini topped the Wildcats with nine points.

OTTAWA HILLS 57, MAUMEE VALLEY 30

Rachel Garber had 16 points, six rebounds, seven steals and three assists to pace Ottawa Hills (3-3, 1-1 TAAC). Laurie Wilkins added 11 points and Kelsey Netter had 10 points and eight rebounds.

Alexis Holman led Maumee Valley (0-4, 0-2) with 12 points.

CARDINAL STRITCH 88, EMMANUEL BAPTIST 29

Cardinal Stritch rang up 22 points in all four quarters to roll over Emmanuel Baptist.

Nicole Bergman and Apryl Pocse led the Cardinals with 18 and 16 points, respectively. Kelcee Evans added 14 points and Kristen Ameling and Jenny Miller 12 apiece.

Kelly Harrington netted 10 for the Warriors.
