Trio lead Swanton by Evergreen 50-40

SWANTON - Tiffany Wilson scored 14 points, Tarah Dominique had 13 and Abby LaVigne 11 as Swanton defeated Evergreen 50-40 last night in girls basketball.

Wilson scored nine and Chelsea White eight in the second half when Swanton (13-3, 6-1 NWOAL) outscored Evergreen 32-20.

Megan Bates led Evergreen (8-7, 2-5) with 14 points.

WOODMORE 56, LAKE 53

ELMORE - Megan Abbey had 19 points, 10 steals and seven rebounds for Woodmore. Casza Rhodes added 12 points and seven boards.

Lindsay Heidelbrink paced Lake with 17 points.

OTSEGO 40, GENOA 37

GENOA - Stephanie Asmus, who had just four points, hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer for Otsego.

Jennie McVey led the Knights in scoring with 14 points.

Brittany Darling scored 16 and Abbey Kontak 14 for Genoa.
