NLL Girls: Wildcats' streak hits 42 in NLL

Lisa Johnson led three Wildcats in double figures with 15 points as Northview rolled to its 42nd straight Northern Lakes League win last night, 64-31 over Perrysburg.

Riana Miller added 14 and Niki McCoy had 13 for the Wildcats (19-1, 14-0), who hit a 3-pointer to start the game and never trailed. Northview, which clinched the league title on Tuesday, led 17-6 after one quarter and 31-10 at the half.

Ashley Parrish scored 10 points for the Yellow Jackets.

Southview 56, Springfield 50

Liz Tansey scored 16 points and Mandi Lisk added 15 for Southview (17-3, 12-2).

Kate Helminiak and Alex Noble scored 12 apiece for visiting Springfield (11-9, 6-8).

Southview outscored Springfield 19-12 in the fourth quarter for the victory.

Southview hit 14 of 21 foul shots to Springfield's 13-of-20 and connected on six treys to the Blue Devils' three.

Maumee 55,

Anthony Wayne 48

Visiting Maumee won in overtime as Lindsay Diegel paced four Panthers in double figures with 16 points, including three 3-pointers.

Ashley Haas added 14, Shelly Warner 11 and Trisha Krewson 10 for Maumee, which outscored Anthony Wayne 20-5 at the foul line.

Kim Vogtsberger and Chelsea George scored eight apiece for the Generals.

Rossford 44,

Bowling Green 39

Chassidy Tooson exploded for 24 points to carry the Bulldogs (7-12, 4-9) over the Bobcats. Crystal Sloan added 11.

Dana Chalupa led Bowling Green with 14 points. Amanda Kern added 10.
