SLL: Otsego pulls away in fourth quarter

KANSAS - Lakota put up a fight, but Otsego ended up on top 66-58 last night as the Knights turned up the pressure and pulled away in the fourth quarter despite making only 12 of 25 free throws in the game.

Jordan Murphy poured in 19 points for Otsego (12-5, 9-4), while Mark Kidd added 11 and Tyler Getz 10.

With Trever Hohman battling foul trouble for Lakota (4-14, 1-12), Ron Diaz produced 17 points and Mark Kaser and Nathaniel House added 14 apiece.

Gibsonburg 60,

Genoa 48

GIBSONBURG - The Golden Bears rode a 13-0 third-quarter run to victory against Genoa.

Marcus Ahle led Gibsonburg (13-6, 9-4) with 19 points and Drew Williamson added 11.

Cory Hornyak set the pace for Genoa (4-14, 2-11) with 15.

Eastwood 56, Lake 37

PEMBERVILLE - Trent Rahe had the hot hand for Eastwood (8-9, 6-7), scoring 21 points.

The Eagles outscored the Flyers 34-14 in the middle quarters.

Tyler Steedman topped Lake (7-13, 3-10) with nine points.

Eastwood made 21 of 50 shots from the field to 15 of 45 for Lake.
