BOWLING GREEN - Napoleon used depth and balance to win the Division II girls district swimming and diving championship yesterday at Bowling Green State University's Cooper Pool.

Allison Zuch won the 500-yard freestyle and teamed with Sara Blease, Chelsea Meyer and Kelli Fisher in the 200 freestyle relay as Napoleon totaled 310 points. Sandusky Perkins was second with 254 points, followed by Lexington (205) and Wauseon (184).

The top four finishers in each swimming event and the top six divers advance to this week's state championship meet in Canton. Others could qualify depending on how their times compare with athletes from other districts.
