Hoehner paces Bowling Green boys

Bowling Green remained unbeaten last night with a 72-54 Northern Lakes League boys basketball victory at Anthony Wayne.

Ryan Hoehner led the Bobcats with 27 points, Blaise Markey had 11 and Brandon Radabaugh had 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Kris Koval led Anthony Wayne with 17 points.

Hoehner scored 13 of BG's 22 points from the foul line where AW was 6-of-14. BG also outrebounded AW 40-30.

PERRYSBURG 71,

Scott Perkins scored 20 points and visiting Perrysburg led 43-16 by halftime. Andrew Wood and Ricky Heber added 14 apiece and Ian Milne had 10. Devin Simon led Southview with 11.

MAUMEE 58,

Kipp Dawson went 4-for-4 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter to help Maumee hold off visiting Springfield.

Lamonte Dawson led the Panthers with 19 points, Kipp Dawson added 15 and Joey Albright had 11. Fletcher Noble paced Springfield with 15 and Brad Zarembski had 12.

Northview took advantage of 31 turnovers by the home team and got 18 points from Sam Myers, 13 from Derek Andrzejczak and 10 from Matt Wade. Kevin Cox had 10 for Rossford.

ADRIAN, Mich. - London Cunningham scored 20 points and Deron Williams added 12 to pace Rogers. Lee Tabb had nine points and 10 rebounds.

Adam Gries scored 12 points and visiting Fremont Ross opened the third quarter on a 10-2 run and the fourth on an 8-0 spurt.

Ryne Smith led Whitmer with 16 and Kevin Koger added 10.

DELTA - Casey Donald scored 10 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter to pace Otsego, which outscored the Panthers 24-13 in the period. Dustin Chase paced Delta with 10 points.

ELMORE - Carl Smith had 17 points and 13 rebounds to pace Woodmore. Derek Speaker added 13 points. Tom Laderach scored 15, Kevin Missig 12 and Jim Vasill 11 for Oak Harbor.

METAMORA - Andrew Pinkelman had 20 points and eight rebounds for Evergreen (3-2). Corey Truckor added 10 points.

Bryan Conley led Lake (2-2) with 13 points and Cody McPherson had 10 points and eight rebounds.
