NAPOLEON - Ryan Ottney scored five touchdowns as Fremont Ross pounded Napoleon 38-10 in a battle of undefeated Greater Buckeye Conference teams.

The Little Giants (6-0, 1-0) jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter on three touchdowns by Ottney, who finished with 69 yards rushing on 12 carries. He also threw for 190 yards, completing 12 of 23 passes.

Devin Johnson led Ross with 92 yards on 19 attempts.

Ottney scored on runs of 3, 1 and 28 in the first quarter, the last two set up by Napoleon fumbles.

The Wildcats tallied on a 27-yard run by Jordan Van Ausdale, who completed only 6 of 29 passes for 135 yards. Jon Hoover added a 22-yard field goal.

Kurt Munson added a 26-yard field goal for the Little Giants before halftime.

Ottney scored on runs of 3 and 5 in the third and fourth quarters, respectively.

Ross finished with 190 yards rushing to Napoleon's 28. The Wildcats were held to just seven total yards in the second half.

"Playing in a hostile environment, I think we physically dominated the football game," Ross coach Derek Kidwell said. "Tonight was very uncharacteristic of Napoleon. I've never seen them turn it over like that, but we were very opportunistic."
