NWOAL Boys: Big second half helps Patrick Henry win

NAPOLEON - Jared Badenhop scored 15 points, Kevin Tietje added 13 and Kyle Tietje had 10 as Patrick Henry defeated Napoleon 67-46 last night by outscoring the Wildcats 39-24 in the second half.

Ryan Fleck and Joel Hunter scored 12 points apiece for Napoleon.

The Patriots won the battle of the boards 25-16.

Kilbourne 60, Bryan 49

CELINA - Justin Schultz scored 16 points and Bubba Opdycke added 14 but Bryan fell in tournament action here to Worthington Kilbourne.

Wauseon 43, Holgate 23

DEFIANCE - Wauseon led Holgate 15-7 after one quarter - the most the Tigers would score in any quarter in the tournament at Defiance College.

Chris Villalovos led the Indians with 15 points, Kevin Elson added 14 and Elliott Mealer had 10.

Joe Baker led Holgate with seven points.

Evergreen 37, Tinora 32

DEFIANCE - Corey Truckor led Evergreen with 17 points in another low-scoring game at Defiance College.

Layne Schroeder led Tinora with 13 points and Taylor Wienken added 10.

Desipte the low scoring,

Evergreen hit seven 3-pointers - Truckor had five - while Tinora connected on just three.

Stryker 59,

Liberty Center 51

STRYKER - Jordan Jaggers scored 20 points, Evan Brown had 15 and Tyson Short 12 for Stryker, which forced 16 turnovers and committed only seven.

Tate Slee led Liberty Center with 21 points and Corey Meister added 12.

Stryker outscored Liberty Center 14-6 from the free throw line.
