SLL GIRLS: Darling's 30 lead Genoa

Brittany Darling poured in 30 points to lead visiting Genoa to a 74-69 victory over Toledo Christian last night.

Simone Eli added 17 points, including four 3-pointers, and Mallory Imbery had 11 for the 9-1 Comets.

Emily Cellier paced Toledo Christian (4-5) with 31 points and she also connected on four 3-pointers.

Joanna Beauch aded 10 for Toledo Christian, which outscored Genoa 23-8 in the second quarter to take a 33-27 lead at halftime.

Genoa hit 13 of 27 free throws to Toledo Christian's 8 of 10. Each team made five 3-pointers.

ELMORE - Jackie Reinhart poured in 24 points to pace New Riegel, which hit 14 of 18 free throws to Woodmore's 5 of 6.

Danielle Lowry led Woodmore with 15 points and Sarah Hernandez added 10.
