Kosa, Longer lead Danbury by Rangers

The one-two punch of Stafini Kosa (20 points) and Christine Longer (17) led Danbury to a 53-37 TAAC girls victory at Northwood last night.

Marissa Reighard paced the Rangers with 21 points.

Danbury led 17-4 after one quarter, but Northwood countered with a 15-6 second quarter to pull within 23-19. The Lakers took command with an 18-11 third-quarter advantage.

Cardinal Stritch 56, Emmanuel 22

Cardinal Stritch broke open a close game in the second quarter with a 13-3 surge.

Nicole Lamb led Stritch (10-4, 8-1) with 14 points.

Emily Loomis paced Emmanuel Christian (2-11, 1-8) with eight.

Ottawa Hills 49, Maumee Valley 29

Ottawa Hills took over in the second half, outscoring the Hawks 26-8 after the break.

Lauren Abendroth and Laura Brewster led the way for the visiting Green Bears (7-6, 5-4) with 13 and 10 points, respectively.

Hannah Spengler reached double figures for Maumee Valley (0-10, 0-8) with 11 points.
