St. Francis pulls away from Rams

St. Francis pulled away from Rogers in the second half to record a 68-54 City League victory last night at home.

Kent Goldsmith led the Knights (7-5, 5-3) with 17 points. Kevin Henry turned in a solid, all-around game with 16 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Jarrod Horton added 11 points.

Storm Stanley had eight rebounds for St. Francis.

Traymone Camak led the Rams (4-10, 2-7) with 12 points and Damon Powell chipped in with 10.

Central Catholic 71,Bowsher 58

Central Catholic led by 24 at halftime and held on to defeat Bowsher at the Sullivan Center.

Tory Villolovos led Central with 19 points, including five 3-pointers. Cory Lehman added 15 and Brandon Ware 10 for the Irish (8-4, 5-3).

Freshman Robert Davis led Bowsher with 21 points. Justin Warnes and T.J. Anderson each added 10 for the Rebels (1-11, 0-8).

Whitmer 51, Woodward 36

Ryne Smith sank 18 points and Kevin Willis had 13 in leading Whitmer (10-2, 6-2) over Woodward.

The Polar Bears (0-7, 1-10) were paced by Rasean Gordon with 10 points.
