NWOAL: Langenderfer scores 29 in Evergreen's victory

MONTPELIER - Taylor Langenderfer poured in 29 points to lead Evergreen to a 61-54 NWOAL girls basketball victory over Montpelier last night.

Evergreen took a 30-19 lead into the locker room at halftime and held on as Blair Bohland contributed 12 points to Langenderfer's effort.

Tab Davis paced the Locomotives with 16 points and Heather DeLong had 10.

Montpelier outrebounded the visitors 39-29 with 20 of the Locomotives' boards coming on offense.

Wauseon 75, Delta 26

DELTA - Wauseon got 15 points from Taylor Creager and 14 each from Cloe Stiriz and Sabrina Kessler, and the Indians led 45-10 at the half.

The victory gave Wauseon an outright championship.

Halet Baun led Delta with seven points.

Bryan 46, Swanton 41

SWANTON - The Golden Bears exploded to a 10-4 first-quarter lead and led by 12 at the half.

Nicole White's 12 points led Bryan (11-7, 6-2) and Brooke Haines chipped in with 10.

Danielle Bezeau paced Swanton (6-13, 2-6) with 14 points while Paige Onweller and Ashlee Polkinghorn each added 11.
