Robbins, Timmons pace Lakota

KANSAS Chris Robbins scored three touchdowns, picking up 151 yards rushing on nine carries, tallying on runs of 26, 10 and 68 yards, to lead Lakota over Gibsonburg 45-15 in the Suburban Lakes League.

John Timmons threw for two touchdowns (to Levi Peeler and Jacob Smith) and ran for another for the Raiders (3-4, 2-2).

Ryan Zesing also scored for the Raiders on a one-yard run.

Quarterback Tony Egbert of Gibsonburg (3-4, 2-2) threw touchdown passes of 53 yards to Nick Baker and 48 yards to Andy Gerbich.

MILLBURY Quarterback Michael Fahle had a hand in four of the five touchdowns for Woodmore, throwing a 13-yard TD pass to Adam Trollo, catching a 52-yard scoring pass from John Sandwisch and tallying on rushes of 1 and 68 yards.

Max Nusser also scored for the Wildcats (2-5, 2-2) on a 68-yard jaunt. Nusser picked up 143 yards on 18 carries.

Nick Mikels stood out for the Flyers (3-4, 1-3), rushing for 230 yards on 32 carries and scoring two touchdowns on short runs. Sam Gresky also had a TD for Lake.

BLOOMDALE Elmwood (4-3, 2-2) celebrated its 50th homecoming with a big victory over Otsego.

Thor Bottesch rushed 10 times for 207 yards and scores of 49, 29 and 26 yards.

Reid Rothenbuhler tossed a 30-yard touchdown pass to Shannon Stewart and rushed for another score of 15 yards. Josh Peterson added the final Elmwood score on a three-yard run.

Jay Hannah led the Royals' defense with a 53-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Elmwood's defense held Otsego to 91 total yards and also picked off three passes. Elmwood amassed 465 yards of total offense.

R.J. Hefflinger scored the touchdown for Otsego (1-6, 0-4) on a one-yard run.
