Southview hits 11 triples in victory

Southview hit 11 of 18 shots from 3-point range and never trailed at home to remain undefeated in the Northern Lakes League with a 74-65 victory over Springfield Friday night.

Tim Hausfeld led Southview (16-1, 12-0) with 24 points, including six 3-pointers. Andy Borcherdt scored 14 and Bernard Pinckney added 11.

Chester McFadden tallied 23 points and Tyler Liber had 17 for Springfield (8-7, 5-7).

The Cougars forced 17 turnovers and committed 13.

Bowling Green 51, Northview 50

The Bobcats captured the road victory on the strength of Tom Dible's shot in the paint at the buzzer at the end of overtime.

Dible finished with 10 points. Chauncey Orr paced Bowling Green (7-10, 7-5) with 17 points and Xavier Brown added 13.

Tripper Northrup led the Wildcats (4-12, 3-9) with 17 points and Stephan Vizina contributed 12.

Perrysburg 69, Rossford 47

Charlie Hughes poured in 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds, Jake Smith added 23 points and David Hieber had 11 boards to lead Perrysburg (14-2, 11-1).

The Yellow Jackets jumped out to a 20-10 lead after one quarter and held a 38-23 halftime advantage.

Tommy Kralovic made six 3-pointers to finish with 22 points for the visiting Bulldogs.

Anthony Wayne 47

Jay Hall led Maumee scorers with 17 as the Panthers topped Anthony Wayne.

Steven Boyd chipped in with 12 points for Maumee, Damon Contat added 11 and Anthony Barnum 10.

Cam Walton scored 12 for the Generals.
