Stanley leads St. Francis

Storm Stanley scored 17 points, including 9-for-10 shooting at the free throw line, to lead visiting St. Francis to a 55-53 basketball victory over Whitmer last night.

Brandon Focht added 13 points for the Knights (11-8), who were 20-of-27 from the line.

Dareon Jones led Whitmer (5-14) with 18 points and Franklin Lindsey added 12 on four 3-pointers.

The Panthers were 6-of-8 from the line.

Whitmer hit nine 3-pointers and St. Francis hit five.

MILLBURY - Wyatt Ault led Elmwood (11-9, 9-4 SLL) with 18 points and Thor Bottesch added 12.

Alex Cordell scored 14 and Anthony Lumbreras 10 for Lake (4-15, 1-12).

FINDLAY - Aaron Craft scored 20 points and Derek Recker added 15 for Liberty-Benton.

Liberty-Benton was 7-for-7 at the line - all by Craft.
