FINDLAY - Liberty-Benton ended Lake's undefeated season and took a 45-41 victory Saturday night to win a Division III girls basketball district championship.
Liberty-Benton (21-1) held a three-point lead at the end of the first half, stretched the lead to 36-28, then held off a strong Lake rally.
The Flyers (22-1) outscored the Eagles 13-9 in the final period.
Amanda Hyde led Liberty-Benton with 21 points. Amber Petersen contributed 15.
Lauren Lind led Lake with 10.
Liberty-Benton hit 14 of 16 free throws, while Lake was 12 of 15.
MARGARETTA 43, GENOA 37
OLD FORT - Genoa led through three quarters, but Margaretta outscored the Comets 21-5 in the fourth to capture the
Division III district final.
Genoa held a 7-5 lead after the first and then led 17-13 at half, before pushing it to 32-22 after the third.
Simone Eli scored 16 to lead the Comets (18-5).
Brittany Morris had 12 for the Polar Bears (20-3). Jessica Meyer had 11.
TINORA 31, WAYNE TRACE 29
NAPOLEON - Tinora built a 17-10 lead at half, then held on as Wayne Trace outscored the Rams 19-14 in the second half in a Division II district final.
Jessica Flory and Anna Steffel each had nine points to lead Tinora (21-3).
JoEllen Fickel led Wayne Trace (17-6) with eight.
WAUSEON 54,
SANDUSKY PERKINS 44
Lexi Baird scored 19 points, while Sabrina Kessler added 15 to pace Wauseon to a Division III district title at Bowsher.
The Indians (20-3) outscored the Pirates 14-9 in the third to pull away.
Sandusky Perkins (17-6) was paced by Bethany Caudill with 24 points. Stacy Grathwol and Jordan Fraley each had 10.

OTTAWA HILLS 52
TONTOGANY - Jami Wagner poured in 15 points and Lauren Hutton delivered 14 to lead the Blue Jackets in a Division IV district final.
Lauren Abendroth powered Ottawa Hills (18-5) with 25 points. Katherine Jamieson chipped in 12.
New Riegel (20-3) led 17-16 after the first quarter, then 31-29 at half.
The Green Bears were still close after three quarters, trailing 47-44, but were held to just eight points in the fourth.

ARCHBOLD - The Wildcats outscored the Patriots 15-6 during the third quarter to spark the victory in a D-IV district final.
Amy Hamburg scored 10 points for Kalida (17-7).
Saige Meyer led PH (12-12) with 10 points.

PANDORA-GILBOA 45
FINDLAY - Carey trailed 40-34 after three quarters but rallied to win a D-IV district title by outscoring Pandora-Gilboa 16-5 in the final period.
Karrah Windau scored 21 points, including 10 from the free-throw line, to lead Carey (21-2). Courtney Holsinger added 10.
Taylor Hermiller led
Pandora-Gilboa (17-6) with 12 points.
