Clay edged visiting Springfield 14-13 as Bobby Hoffman hauled in a 19-yard scoring pass from quarterback Josh Utter in the third quarter to account for the winning score.
Clay (2-1), which scored both its touchdowns in the third quarter, got their other touchdown on a one-yard run by Utter.
Hoffman had six catches for 76 yard. Kyle Stevenson had 85 yards on just two carries for the Eagles.
Quarterback Leroy Alexander accounted for both touchdowns for the Blue Devils (1-2), one on a three-run in the second quarter and the other in the third on a 29-yard scamper.
St. Francis 31, Dayton Carroll 18
The Knights stayed perfect with a win over Carroll at Rogers.
Scott Loy had four catches for 92 yards and a touchdown for St. Francis. He pulled in a 35-yard touchdown from Tyler Johnston in the third quarter.
Johnston also had a five-yard TD run, while teammate Lee Lukasik scored on runs of 4 and 15 yards.
Dayton Carroll's Matt Fornshill had two touchdown catches (2 and 14 yards) on passes from Kevin Seals. Alex Wolodkiewicz had a one-yard TD run.
Whitmer 48, Fostoria 12
FOSTORIA - Micah Merritt rushed for four touchdowns, and Joe Missler was 16 of 25 passing for 160 yards for Whitmer (3-0).
Fostoria cut the lead to 7-6 in the second quarter when Antoine Williams hauled in a 29-yard pass from Jordan Bulkowski, but Beau McIntosh took the ensuing kickoff and returned it 82 yards for a touchdown.
The Panthers then scored the next 21 points to put the game away.
Whitmer piled up 249 yards on the ground, led by Teryl Mershon's 103 yards on nine carries. Merritt added 67 yards on 15 carries. The Redmen had just 21 yards on 22 carries.
Maumee 48, Bowsher 12
Panthers quarterback Jake Goatley completed 18 of 22 passes for 217 yards and four touchdowns for Maumee (3-0) in a home win.
Nick Gebhart and John Hall each hauled in two scoring passes from Goatley, with Gebhart totaling three catches for 42 yards and Hall five receptions for 63 yards.
Eric Long led Maumee's with 85 yards on 18 carries and two touchdowns.
Antione Russel paced the Rebels (0-3) with two long TD receptions from quarterback Brian Shelton, one for 50 yards and another for 80. Russel caught six for 163 yards and Shelton completed 11 of 19 for 187 yards.
Perrysburg 27, Waite 9
Matt Slocum threw three touchdown passes, as the visiting Yellow Jackets scored 15 points in the second half.
Slocum connected on a 37-yard scoring strike to Matt Marquette in the first period, then had TD tosses of 7 and 43 yards to Dan Noland.
Steve Slocum added a seven-yard scoring run to close the scoring for Perrysburg (3-0).
Sam Khatoun kicked a 30-yard field goal and Kevin Carter scored on a six-yard run for Waite (0-3).
Southview 33, Start 21
Southview amassed 314 total yards at Start.
Cougars quarterback Denard Pickney opened the scoring with a 43-yard run. He had 10 carries for 64 yards, and was 5 for 14 passing for 119 yards and a TD - a 60-yard pass play to Jake Rhodes.
Southview (1-2) opened the second half with a 98-yard kickoff return by Dylan Bowers.
Tom Stichter scored two TDs for Southview.
Start (0-3) got on the board in the fourth quarter when Deonte Rozier scored from 21 yards out. He later scored on a 15-yard run.
Tyreen Crape pulled in an 11-yard TD pass from Aaron Newman for the Spartans. Newman was 15 for 29 passing for 189 yards. Rozier had four carries for 68 yards.
Lyndhurst Brush 48, Scott 0
LYNDHURST, Ohio - Patric Hannan was a one-man wrecking-crew for Brush, romping for four touchdowns and 126 yards on eight carries.
For the Bulldogs (0-3), Branden Pyles caught five passes for 40 yards and Alex Handley accounted for seven tackles.
