Toledo Christian suffers loss

FORT LORAMIE, Ohio - Mitch Raterman scored three times as Fort Loramie edged Toledo Christian 30-27 Friday night.

The Redskins' Raterman, who had 225 yards on 33 carries, opened the scoring. He would go one to score twice more on runs of four yards and one yard.

Graham Miller highlighted Toledo Christian's running game with a 59-yard run in the third quarter. He carried 12 times for 100 yards.

Eagles quarterback Nick Rightnowar was 21 of 35 passing for 230 yards and three touchdowns. Zach Brumbaugh caught TD passes of two and eight yards.

Hopewell-Loudon 41, Northwood 22

BASCOM - Matt Brickner scored four touchdowns and Hopewell-Loudon held Northwood to just 117 offensive yards.

Brickner had 103 yards on 11 carries and added eight receptions for 80 yards. He ran for two touchdowns and caught two more from Ethan Fuller.

Northwood (1-2) was led on the ground by Erik Russell's 73 yards on 12 carries. Russell connected with John Romstadt on a 5-yard TD pass. Zach Bermejo and Corey Jones also scored rushing touchdowns for the Rangers (1-2).

Hopewell-Loudon accounted for 316 yards rushing and 235 passing.

Edgerton 20, Cardinal Stritch 10

Jeff Crowe threw for one touchdown and ran for two others to lead the Bulldogs in a game at Northwood.

Crowe connected on a 29-yard scoring strike to Jimmy Radabaugh, then added TD runs of 1 and 7 seven yards for Edgerton (3-0).

Andrew Elchert kicked a 40-yard field goal for Cardinal Stritch in the first quarter. A.J. Zalewski scored from one yard out in the final period.

Kyle Gladieux ran for 127 yards on 31 rushes to lead the Cardinals (0-3).

Antwerp 34, Ottawa Hills 20

ANTWERP - Ottawa Hills took an early 7-6 lead on a 47-yard pass from J.J. Buckey to Will Longthorne, but the home team controlled the action the rest of the way to get the victory.

Mike Stewart led the Archers (2-1) with 86 yards on eight carries, while John Brown completed 10-of-19 passes for 123 yards and a touchdown.

Longthorne carried 23 times for 121 yards for the Green Bears (1-2).

Hicksville 49, Edon 8

HICKSVILLE - Logan Battershell ran for 167 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Aces to the home victory.

Battershell scored on runs of 4, 10 and 23 yards as Hicksville used 298 rushing yards to improve to 3-0 on the season.

Shannon Geren finished with 85 yards rushing and scored on a 21-yard run for Edon (0-3).

Hilltop 33, Holgate 2

HOLGATE - The Cadets won in a rout, scoring 27 first half points.

Hilltop's Tyler Shipman accounted for three touchdowns, rushing for one-yard in the second quarter and then connecting with Nate Shaffer for two TDs later in the game. Shipman threw a 50-yard TD pass to Shaffer in the second and a 28-yard scoring strike to him in the third. Josiah Poletta had a seven-yard rushing TD for the Cadets and Quinton Nofziger returned an interception 85 yards.
