Hudson gets past Blissfield

BLISSFIELD, Mich. - Hudson outlasted Blissfield 35-30 Friday night in an offensive shootout between undefeated teams in the Lenawee County Athletic Association.

Neither team punted the ball.

Drew Milligan carried 19 times for 108 yards and a pair of four-yard touchdown runs for Hudson (4-0, 2-0). He also kicked five extra points. Chris Robbins added 68 yards on 16 carries. He scored on runs of 40 and 13 yards.

Dalton Goetz had touchdown runs of 1 and 40 yards for Blissfield (3-1, 1-1), and finished with 57 yards on six carries. Quarterback Cody Spotts ran eight times for 75 yards and completed 14 of 22 passes for 121 yards, including a five-yard touchdown pass to Josh Knorr. Travis Babbitt also scored on a 2-yard run.

SALINE, Mich. - Tied 7-7 at the end of the first quarter, Bedford went on a scoring spree in the final three period.

Jared Kujawa rambled for 146 yards and three touchdowns in 28 carries for the Kicking Mules, who improved to 3-1, 3-0 in the Southeastern Conference.

Zach Messer ran for 144 yards and two touchdowns in 12 carries.

Jake Krueger and Dominic Fetterly spearheaded the Bedford defense.

Saline is 2-2, 1-2.

OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. - Whiteford rushed out to a 21-0 halftime edge and was never in trouble in advancing to 3-1 on the season.

Junior running back Cody Connelly blasted his way for two three-yard touchdown runs while compiling 141 yards total on 23 carries.

Quarterback Travis Pant scored once for the Bobcats and Kody Baker finished the Whiteford scoring with a 13-yard run.

Sand Creek's lone touchdown came on a 10-yard pass from Lucas Rains to Lucas Logan.

ERIE - Erie Mason jumped out to a 14-0 halftime lead but didn't score again as visiting Dundee rallied with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter for the win.

The Dundee combination of Daniel Bolster and CJ Wolfenbarger connected for touchdowns of 15 and 20 yards in the fourth quarter. Bolster was 18 of 28 for 222 yards.

Erie Mason's Ryan Lewis was involved in both of its touchdowns, hitting Ducy Burwell on a 31-yard strike and then rushing from 1 yard. Lewis was 16 of 26 for 241 yards, adding 44 rushing yards on six attempts. Burwell had nine catches for 166. Erie Mason remains winless while Dundee improves to 2-2.
