Area boys: Casey scores 25 to lead Lakota past N. Baltimore

KANSAS - Chris Casey scored 25 points, and North Baltimore outscored Lakota 23-16 in the fourth quarter last night and went on to win 66-57.

Cody Pelton added 12 points for the Tigers (5-4 overall, 3-2 Midland Athletic). Four Lakota (6-3, 3-2) players scored in double figures - Josh Kelley (17), Scott Hoffman (14), Roger Guerra (11), and Jake Wiseman (10).

FINDLAY - Four Findlay players scored in double figures, and the Trojans used a big third quarter to improve to 6-4 (2-2 Greater Buckeye).

Grant Birchmeier led the charge with 17 points, and Brock Ammons added 15. C.J. Gettys and Zach Elbin added 10 points each. For Sandusky (4-6, 1-2), Jarrod Williams scored 20 points and Tristen Jefferies added 12.

NAPOLEON - Visiting Lima Senior's Anton Hutchins tallied 18 points, and teammate Tyler White scored 14 as the Spartans downed Napoleon.

Lima was on top at the break 24-21.

The Wildcats were led by Fulton Lankenau's 13 points and 12 were chipped in by Jordan Lauf.

NEW RIEGEL - Aaron Schalk scored 20 points, Dustin Kinn had 17, and Joey Dilba 12 for New Riegel (8-1, 5-0 MAL). Nine players scored points for St. Joseph (5-4, 2-2 MAL), none in double figures.

DOLA - Liberty-Benton rolled over Hardin Northern as four players from the visitors' squad put up double figures in scoring.

Liberty-Benton's Aaron Craft tallied 19 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists. Teammates Jordan Benson's 14 points and 11 points each from Zach Jones and Brett Pasche powered the Eagles.

Joe Walter and Bobby Stiener had 11 points and 10 points, respectively, for the Polar Bears. Stiener had seven rebounds.

ANN ARBOR - A. J. Mathew led Huron (6-2 overall, 3-0 SE Mich.) with 23 points, while Matt Hastings added 12 and Dante Williams 10.

Jackson Lamb totaled 21 points for the Mules (3-4, 1-1) and Matt Lazette chipped in with 16.
