Maumee tops Anthony Wayne

Maumee's Jon Hall led a trio of Panthers who accounted for 43 points in a 61-56 victory over Anthony Wayne. Hall tallied 16 points, Tyler Martin 14, and Anthony Barnum 13. Maumee led at the half 36-16.

Anthony Wayne's Brad Celusta ran wild scoring 28 points, including eight 3-pointers. Teammate Jake Conklin had 13 points.

The Knights outlasted Elida to pick up a victory. Storm Stanley had 16 points and 13 rebounds for St. Francis de Sales (7-3).

Reggi McAdams had 27 points for Elida (6-4).

ROGERS 84, CELINA 78

Quincy Caldwell and Damond Powell each poured in 27 points for the Rams in a victory over Celina. J.R. Rayford added 16 points for Rogers (7-2).

Darin Waterman had 22 points for Celina (6-4) while John Homan, Mitchell Ross, and Kahl Larve had 13 points.

St. John's fell to Romulus, the top-ranked team in Division 1 in Michigan, after being outscored 21-13 in the fourth.

Cheatham Norrils had 17 points to lead the Titans (9-2).

DeAndre Buckley had 17 points for Romulus (8-0) while Derrick Stewart had 12 and Justin Moss had 11.

NEW RIEGEL - Ottawa Hills lost for the first time this year, falling in double overtime to New Riegel.

Joey Dillon scored 23 points, Aaron Schalk 18, and Dustin Kinn 13 for New Riegel (9-1). Eliot Browarski had 20 points, Andrew Jamieson 15, and Lucas Janowicz 12 for Ottawa Hills (8-1).

Charlie Hughes scored 18 points and Alec Schmenk scored 13 to lead the visiting Yellow Jackets (11-1, 8-0) over the Bulldogs in Northern Lakes League play.

Tyler Kralovic (15), Zach Leahy (12), and Mitchell Stewart (10) paced the Bulldogs (6-6, 3-5).

BOWLING GREEN 59, NORTHVIEW 42

Chauncey Orr scored 25 points and Max Hopfgartner added 10 as Bowling Green (8-4, 7-1 NLL) took a 20-point lead at half. Jake Zureich and Jacob Sturt each had 13 for Northview (2-9, 2-6).

SPRINGFIELD 68, SOUTHVIEW 50

Chester McFadden scored a game-high 25 points for Springfield (7-3, 5-3) in a win over Southview. Leroy Alexander tallied 17 and Quinton Green had 14 for the visiting Blue Devils.

Southview (7-4, 5-3) was led by Andy Borcherdt's 21 points and Allen Gant's 15.

GENOA - The Comets' Stephen Clark and Richard Wonnell put up 46 points on the way to Genoa (5-4) easily defeating Cardinal Stritch (0-11).

Wonnell drained 24 points, but it was Clark who scored a school-record seven 3-pointers. His 22nd point was earned at the foul line. Genoa is 5-4 overall.

Stritch's Justin Staler connected on 14 points; teammate Kyle Hatfield knocked down 12 points.

Ele Oshodin and Jimmie Jordan each scored 15 points for Apostolic Christian. Joshe Junge and Michael Shankleton had 8 points each for the Northwest Ohio Christian Home Educators.

NORWALK - Port Clinton remained unbeaten at 10-0 as Ryan Hicks scored 16 points, Josh Francis 12, and Allen Tigner 10.

Jared Cashen paced Norwalk with 13 points and Jacob Cashen provided 10.

WAUSEON -- Dace Kime and Eric Stapleton tallied nine points each to pace Defiance (9-1). The Indians were led by J. D. Douglass with 11.

VANLUE - Vanlue put five players in double figures - Jordon Cook with 17, Dillon Kliesch with 16, Jonathan Kloepfer with 12, Drew Bastic with 10, and Taylor Chiow with 10. Kliesch had 12 rebounds and Chiow 8 assists. Loman Kohlenberg and Roman Ream each had 13 points for Old Fort.

GIBSONBURG 59, HOPEWELL-LOUDON 41

GIBSONBURG -- Lee Renner had 19 points and 11 rebounds and Zac Smith added 10 and 11 while Gage Beaber had 15 points to pace the Golden Bears (5-4). Brandon Schaade had 13 points for the Chieftans (0-11).

TIFFIN COLUMBIAN 80, OAK HARBOR 64

OAK HARBOR - Derek Kneeskern scored a game-high 21 points and Jared Kuhlman added 20 for Tiffin Columbian. Cole Williams also scored 15 for TC.

Oak Harbor was led by Steve Young's 15 and Brendan Wasserman's 12. Kevin Young and D.J. Everett each had 10 for the Rockets.

OTTAWA GLANDORF - Brock Ammons led all scorers with 19 points and Grant Birchmeier added 16 for the Trojans.

Travis Schumaker paced O-G with 16 points and Jordan Alt had 10.

EDON - Evergreen exploded in the second half to beat the Bombers.

Lucas Pennington and Chad Mossing led the Vikings (7-1), scoring 19 points and 18 points, respectively. Ryan Salsbury added 10.

VAN BUREN - Adam Tyson scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Royals (4-4) past the Black Knights.

Elmwood's Jay Hannah tallied 17 points and four steals, while T.J. Waldock added 15 points.

Rich Meyer led Van Buren (4-6) with 13 points.

FREMONT - Clyde parlayed a five-point advantage in the third quarter and some sharp-shooting at the free-throw line in the closely contested game. Adam Snider with 13 and Conner Dudley with 12 led St. Joseph (5-5). Ben Danhoff had 21 points for Clyde to lead all scorers and pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds.

SWANTON 56, LAKE 47

MILLBURY - Swanton rallied with a 20-6 performance in the fourth period. Ryan Johnson scored 16 points and Louis Miller 13 to lead the Bulldoigs (5-4). Kurt McKee had 15 points for Lake (3-7).
