Whitmer gets win over Fremont Ross

Whitmer topped Fremont Ross 50-29 thanks to 14 points apiece from Allie Missler and Malisa Hoak. The win boosted the Panthers to 2-9.

Casey Clark led Ross (1-10) with 8.

ALEXANDER 59, CENTRAL CATHOLIC 41

PICKERINGTON, Ohio - Alexxis Knannlein scored 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Irish in the Pickerington Shootout Tournament.

Jamie Sobczak scored 11 points for Central (7-5).

Kayla Radekin led Alexander (8-4) with 18 points. Whittney Daugherty added 17 and Morgan Griestead 15 for Alexander.

BOWSHER 79, DEFIANCE 42

Ciara Hudson scored 24, Golden Brown 22, and Alex King 12 to lead the Rebels (8-5). Defiance fell to 1-10.

LIBBEY 52, MONTPELIER 23

MONTPELIER -- Macketta Allen had 24 points and Tia Frazier 10 for Libbey (4-9).

LAKESIDE - Ottawa Hills ran its season record to 11-1 and 6-0 in the TAAC.

The teams were tied at 10-all in the first quarter, but the Green Bears outscored Danbury (6-6, 3-3) 50-25 in the final three quarters. Lauren Abendroth with 14 points and Caroline Arnos with 12 led Ottawa Hills. Heather Bahnsen and Christine Longer each had 10 points for the Lakers (6-6, 3-3).

Maddie Strall had 14 points, four steals, and five rebounds as the Arrows (3-8) upset the Bulldogs. Isabelle Lishewski added nine points for the winners.

CARDINAL STRITCH 43, MAUMEE VALLEY 18

Marissa Zaborski paced the visiting Cardinals (4-7, 4-2) with 11 points.

Kristin Bigelow and Delaney Lonsway scored five apiece for Maumee Valley (2-8, 1-5).

REYNOLDSBURG 64, NOTRE DAME 53

REYNOLDSBURG - Notre Dame Academy (9-2) outscored Reynoldsburg 31-28 in the second half but couldn't erase the 14-point lead the home team had after the first two periods. Demy Whitaker scored 18 points to lead the Eagles, who play Cincinnati Sycamore at the Pickerington Tournament today.
