Clay takes 2 from Southview to stay perfect

Northwest Ohio's top softball team from the end of the 2009 high school season has carried its momentum over to this year.

The Clay Eagles, winners of three of the last four City League championships, pushed their season record to a perfect 5-0 Tuesday by sweeping visiting Southview 4-2 and 4-1 in a non-league doubleheader.
