Green tallies 28 to lift Rangers past Cardinals

NORTHWOOD 57, CARDINAL STRITCH 54

David Green scored 28 points to lead host Northwood to a victory Thursday night in Toledo Area Athletic Conference boys basketball.

Ricky Hartley scored four of his five points in the final minute to help seal the win for the Rangers (3-5, 2-2 TAAC).

Justin Staler topped the Cardinals with 20 points. Matt Guy had 13.

MAUMEE VALLEY 47, DANBURY 25

LAKESIDE — Ricky Deichert led Maumee Valley (4-2, 3-1 TAAC) with 10 points.

Hunter Stephens paced Danbury (3-5, 1-2) with eight points.

WAUSEON 67, SWANTON 44

WAUSEON — Tre Henricks paced Wauseon (4-3, 2-1 NWOAL) with 23 points.

Wade Wooley contributed 17 points and 11 rebounds, and Alex Woten had 16 points and 10 boards for the Indians.

Shane Bloom topped Swanton (2-6, 0-3) with 12 points.

HOLGATE 37, WAYNE TRACE 33

HOLGATE — The Tigers used a 9-0 run to start the fourth quarter and held on late.

Ryan Aelker led Holgate (5-4, 1-0 GMC) with 16 points.

Grady Gudakunst topped Wayne Trace (2-5, 0-1) with 14.

FINDLAY 65, NAPOLEON 56

FINDLAY — Brock Ammons included 10 free throws in his 21 points and C.J. Gettys added 17 for the Trojans (6-1, 3-0 GBC).

The Wildcats (5-3, 1-2) got a game-high 25 points from Jordan Lauf.

APOSTOLIC CHRISTIAN 48, BRYAN FOUNTAIN CITY 45

Jimmie Jennings led the host Conquerors (1-4) to their first win with 18 points and Kyle Gross added 12.

Jackson Dillon led the Fury with 12 points.

FAYETTE — Tyler Keefer had 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Eagles (1-6). Trevor Cox added 13 points.

Jalen Dancer led North Central (3-4) with 16 points.

PETTISVILLE — Taylor Short led Pettisville with 14 points, Zach Pursel (16 rebounds) and Josh Burton each scored 14 points.

Travis Burwell led Hilltop with 10 points.

LIBERTY CENTER – Matt Wisler scored 20 points to lead Bryan.

Phil Snow led Liberty Center with 12 points.

Katey Dushane led Gibsonburg (3-8, 1-3) with seven points.

BLOOMDALE — Micaela Murphy scored 23 points and Morgan McCullough added 10 to lead Otsego.

Brittany Gross scored 22 points and Sierra Beckford added 15 to pace Elmwood.

TIFFIN — Maya Brown and Amanda Williams each scored 16 points for Columbian (9-0). Erin Miller added 14.

Alanna Heestand led Eastwood (1-8) with seven points.

VAN BUREN — Jackie Leppelmeier and Shelby Wilson each scored 15 points for McComb (8-2),while Briana Herr had 14 and Emily Clymer scored 10.

Rachel Adolth led Van Buren with 17 points.
