Bowsher 99, Scott 88
In a wild shootout in the Rebels' gym, five players scored in double figures for each team Friday night.

Robert Davis led Bowsher — who qualified for the City League boys basketball tournament as the fourth seed — with 26 points.

Mookie Mustafaa added 17, Milan Mabry and Justin Neptune each tossed in 16, and Kharri Dailey contributed 10 for the Rebels (11-6, 6-4).

Dontonio Kynard paced the Bulldogs (4-6, 7-10) with 21 points.

Chris Harris tossed in 18, Jordan Holmes 15, Donovan McClain 12 and Mike Jones 10 for Scott.


Waite 72, Start 68
The Indians (6-11, 4-6) overcame an eight-point deficit with less than 90 seconds left in regulation and went on to win in overtime.

Dishon Harris powered visiting Waite with 23 points, while Tim Morehead added 14, Henry Newson 10.

Dion Ivery and Chris Lawson had 12 apiece for the Spartans (8-9, 4-6). Maurice Taylor had 11 while Robert Wietrzkowski had 10.


Whitmer 75, Woodward 29
Kenny Hayes led with way with a 16 points for the Panthers (17-1, 10-1), who led 30-20 at halftime.

Luke Hickey and Ben Syroka each had 13 for visiting Whitmer.

Chris Bourn's 10 led the Polar Bears (2-16, 0-11).


St. John's 68, Cleveland John Hay 65
The host Titans (17-1) got 12 points from Jeff Copeland. Cheatham Norrils and Marc Loving tallied 11 each.

St. John's led 32-27 at halftime.

Devon Carter led the Hornets (12-8) with 21.


Clay 49, St. Francis 38
Doug Waldmannstetter posted 19 points and 15 rebounds while making 9-of-10 at the free throw line for host Clay, which led 20-1 after the first quarter.

The Eagles (3-14, 3-7) finished 23-of-29 at the foul line. Anthony Jones contributed 12 points.

Danny Yodzis totaled 16 points for St. Francis (3-15, 1-9), which was 12-of-22 at the line.
