Entering this week, defending Division I state volleyball champion St. Ursula remained unbeaten at 13-0 overall, and retained its No. 1 ranking in the state coaches poll.

Coach John Buck's Arrows are also rated No. 22 nationally.

St. Ursula holds down first place in the first season of the Three Rivers Athletic Conference, after winning nine of the last 11 titles in the City League before exiting.

Notre Dame and Central Catholic entered the week in a three-way tie for second place along with Findlay, all at 3-1 in TRAC play.

In the Northern Lakes League, Bowling Green is on pace in its quest for an eighth straight league title, entering the week at 8-0 in NLL matches, ahead of second-place Perrysburg (6-2) and third-place Southview (5-3).

The Bobacts' run of NLL crowns began under former coach Kelly Nitschke in 2004, and has continued since 2005 under current coach Deb Mathias.
