HOLGATE 41, NORTH CENTRAL 38

DEFIANCE — Ryan Aelker scored 13 points to lead Holgate (4-3)to Wednesday’s final against Wauseon in the Buffalo Wild Wings tournament at Defiance College. Jalen Dancer led North Central (3-3) with 15 points.Holgate held a 9-point lead with three minutes left in the game, but North Central hit two threes, but missed a three at the buzzer which would have tied the game.

SWANTON 50, EVERGREEN 44

SWANTON -- Eastwood (2-6) jumped out to a quick 12-0 lead and then held on for the victory. Alanna Heestand led the Eagles with 19 points. For the Bulldogs 92-6) Bethanne Lumbreezer scored 12.

ROGERS 68, LAKE RIDGE ACADEMY 45

TWINSBERG — The Rams (7-1) won their game in the 12-team showcase as Cha’Ron Sweeney pumped in 26 points, including four 3-pointers.

Sasha Dailey added 14 for Rogers as it built a 31-18 lead at the half.

Lake Ridge (2-3) was led by Monet Saunders with 11 and Davonna Bradford with 10.

WHITMER 50, LAKE 34

Autumn Jones scored 21 points to lead Whitmer (5-3) at home. Jordan Taylor led Lake (5-3) with 14.

BEDFORD 56, REDFORD THURSTON 49

CARLETON, Mich. — The Mules (4-2) dominated the overtime period to win their first game in the Airport Invitational.

Ellen Hays led the way for Bedford, pumping in 19 points while Taylor Foster added 14, including two 3-pointers.

Thurston (4-2) was paced with 12 points each from Lexus Legardy and Taylor Hunt.

Bedford will take on Airport Wednesday as the non-bracketed tournament continues.

NORTHWOOD 66, WOODWARD 42

Sandy Koch scored 17 points, Anna Raymond had 16, and Becca Bisbee 13 to lead Northwood at Woodward. Tyesha Thomas led Woodward (0-7) with 17 and Lexus Sullivan had 10

LEIPSIC 46, HILLTOP 26

DEFIANCE — Molly Ellerbrock scored 14 points to lead Leipsic over Hilltop in the Ayersville Holiday Tournament. Kelly Nadler added 10 points for Leipsic.

Katie Robanez led Hilltop with seven points.
