Maumee 47, Springfield 45

The Panthers went into the fourth quarter with a 38-26 lead Friday night, then had to hold off a furious 19-9 rally by the host Blue Devils to gain their first Northern Lakes League girls basketball victory of the season.

Kayla Thompson and Elizabeth Theaker led Maumee (4-8, 1-6) with 13 points.

Natalie Yoder scored 15 for Springfield (3-9, 0-7).

Bedford 47, Monroe 33

TEMPERANCE — Taylor Foster scored 14 points, Cheyanne McCarney led the defensive effort with five steals, and Lauren Knauss had 10 rebounds for Bedford (8-4).
Jordan Strauss led Monroe (6-5) with 17.

Fremont St. Joseph 48, Lakota 43

FREMONT — Tori Smith had 15 points, was 6-for-6 at the foul line, and had 10 rebounds for Fremont St. Joseph.

Taylor Flick scored 12 points, Alex McNair had 9 points and 10 rebounds.

Sierra Ray led Lakota with 12 points.
