CLEVELAND -- Scott Milne caught an inbounds pass from Jake Pfleghaar, took one dribble, then made a game-winning, 3-point shot from 50 feet away at the final buzzer Saturday night as the Yellow Jackets stunned Cleveland St. Ignatius in boys basketball.

Perrysburg (10-5) trailed 49-47 when Shane Edwards tied it with 12 seconds left. The Wildcats (13-2), ranked 12th in Ohio in Division I, took the lead on a shot by Jack Tupa.

The Yellow Jackets called a timeout with 1.8 seconds left, and coach Dave Boyce drew up the winning play.

"It was a pretty cool scene for our whole fan base," said Boyce, who called the win one of the most exciting in his career. "It was a really good atmosphere, and our team showed a lot of poise. [St. Ignatius] had a huge size advantage, and our kids just kept battling."

Edwards topped the Jackets with 20 points, Milne had 18, and Pfleghaar added 12.

Mike Papesch scored 20 points to pace the Wildcats.
