Rogers rallies past Bellevue

Rogers 43, Bellevue 35

At Clay, Cha'Ron Sweeney scored 21 points as the Rams (19-4) rallied in the fourth quarter Saturday night to claim a Division I girls basketball district championship.

The Redmen led 30-27 after the third quarter.

Carly Santoro had 19 and Leslie Raifsnider 10 for Bellevue.

The Rams advance to the regional Tuesday at Ohio Northern Tuesday to play Lima Bath.

Division III

Liberty-Benton 26, Evergreen 23

At Anthony Wayne, the Eagles survived in a low-scoring affair.

Liberty-Benton led 7-2 after the first quarter but 14-13 at halftime, then increased the advantage to 23-19 after three quarters.

Rachel Myers led Liberty-Benton with 13 points.

Lauren Langenderfer paced Evergreen with 19 points.

Division IV

Stryker 64, Pettisville 53

ARCHBOLD -- Brooke Rudffer scored 21 points and Baily Grime had 17 points for Stryker.

Tanner Hostetler led Pettisville with 18 points and Lauren Frey had 13.

Stryker trailed 24-23 at the half, but outscored Pettisville 41-29 in the second half.

The Panthers made 30 of 39 free throws to the Blackbirds' 13 of 18.

Archbold 48, Coldwater 25

KALIDA -- Cassidy Wyse scored 14 points to lead Archbold (24-0) which had a 29-9 lead at halftime.

Kiya Dues led Coldwater with five points.

Coldwater opened the game by making only two points in the first quarter while the Blue Streaks were scoring 13. In the fourth quarter, Archbold coasted home with just two points.
