BEDFORD 61, MONROE 39

MILAN, Mich. — The Mules won their Class A boys basketball district first-round game Monday night as Jackson Lamb poured in 23 points.

Ryan Rightnowar added 11 for Bedford (16-5).

Ted March and Al Harris each had nine for the Trojans (5-16).

Bedford will play Wednesday at Milan in the semifinals.

WHITEFORD 62 BRITTON-DEERFIELD 51

PETERSBURG, Mich. — Colin Lake scored 23 points to help lift Whiteford in a Class C district first-round game. Austin Bischoff scored 12 for Whiteford (16-5).

Jordan Osbun had 16 points, Devon Gruber 14, and Landon Handy 13 for Britton-Deerfield.

Whiteford will play Wednesday against Monroe St. Mary.
