Outlook: The Bulldogs snapped a 35-game losing streak last season with a win over Woodmore, but that was the only win last season.

Drusback, who helped rejuvenate the program at Fremont St. Joseph in his last coaching stop, has posted a 1-19 record in two seasons at Rossford.

But Drusback has 44 players this season, including 10 seniors. He said the players now have game experience and improved work ethic.

"We have confidence and resiliency," he said.

Welch earned all-district first team honors as a two-way lineman, while Robbins was honorable mention in the league and district as an offensive and defensive tackle.

Clay threw for 1,722 yards (150 of 263) and 10 touchdowns.

The Bulldogs still must learn how to win, he said.

"We are excited to be competitive this season with a goal of having a winning season," Drusback said.
