BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. — St. Francis fell behind early and couldn't catch up to Brother Rice, last year's Division 2 Michigan state champs.

Michael Wagner finished with 152-yards rushing for the Knights (1-2) including a three-yard TD. He also hauled in a seven-yard touchdown pass from David Nees.

Nees threw for 134 yards and added a late three-yard scoring strike to Luke Ketterman.

Brother Rice's balanced offense was led by quarterback Cheyne Lacanaria who was 9 of 9 passing for 171 yards and two touchdowns (14 yards to Joshua Flye and 64 yards to Corey Lacanaria).

The Warriors (2-1) had rushing touchdowns from Brian Walker (two yards), Shon Powell (12 and seven yards), and Gregory Marzec (61 yards).
