Whitmer 52, Springfield 39

Keshyra McCarver scored a game-high 25 points, and Samantha Meinen added 16 as the Whitmer girls basketball team rolled to victory Tuesday night.

Natalie Yoder scored nine points to lead Springfield, which was outscored 22-6 in the third quarter as Whitmer broke the game open.

Anthony Wayne 50, Wauseon 46

WAUSEON — Sara Zankl scored a game-high 16 points, helping the Generals (3-1) win on the road. Thy made 20 of 24 free throws, including 10 of 14 in the fourth quarter to seal it.

Bryan 60, Wayne Trace 54

HAVILAND — Hannah Schimmoeller scored a game-high 26 points as the Golden Bears prevailed in overtime.

Schimmoeller hit 10 of 24 field goals attempts.

Makayla Dennis added 13 points for Bryan (2-2), which used a 17-10 fourth-quarter run to force overtime.

Swanton 38, Maumee 32

The Bulldogs won on the road to advance to 2-2. Megyn Christensen led Swanton with nine points. Joeal Olman led the Panthers (0-4) with 13 points.

Elmwood 85, Bowling Green 76

BLOOMDALE — The Royals prevail in two overtimes behind the scoring of Kristen Curtis (24), Brittany Gross (19), Brittany George (13) and Tiffany Hillard (10).

For the Bobcats Hanna Williford had 22, Livvy Dill 15 and Haley Glandorf 10.

Archbold 80, Fairview 36

SHERWOOD — Cassidy Wyse poured in 16 points and Winter Fricke added 13, Hannah Hesterman 10, and Jesse Fidler 10 for the Bluestreaks.

Fremont St. Joe 45, Danbury 39

FREMONT — Jensen LeJeune scored 15 points and Ashley Burns 13 for St. Joe. Erin Lavelle’s 14 points paced Danbury.

Montpelier 48, Stryker 38

STRYKER — Hannah Blake’s 22 points helped the Locomotives pull away for a road victory. Montpelier led 23-10 at halftime.

Northwest Ohio 43, Monclova Christian 26

Chelsey Yoder led Northwest Ohio with 21 points. Mikaela Mitchell added 10. Jessie Holtzsher paced Monclova with eight points.
