Big free-throw edge lifts BG past Archbold

Swanton 42, Rossford 41

SWANTON — Maicie Wheeler connected on a 3-pointer with 15 seconds left in the game and Swanton held on to win Monday night in girls basketball.

Bethann Lumbrezer led Swanton (4-3) with 13 points, Emily Callicotte scored 12 and Wheeler finished with 10.

Julie Hotz scored 14 points to lead Rossford, while Alaina Mitchell added 11.

Bowling Green 60, Archbold 56

BOWLING GREEN — The Bobcats converted 30 of 40 free throws to hand the Blue Streaks their first loss.

Livvy Dill led BG (4-4) with 13 points, while Haley Glandorff added 12 and Reagan Morman 10..

Archbold (8-1) was led by Cassidy Wyse’s 17 points. Tiffany Coressel had 14. Jesse Fidler chipped in with 10 points for the Blue Streaks, who made 2 of 5 free throws.

Delta 58, Emmanuel Christian 19

Brigan Wymer scored 18 points to help Delta to a non-conference road win.

MyMy Allen paced Emmanuel Christian with nine points.

Woodward 47, Scott 40

K’Shawna Barnett scored a game-high 27 points to help the Polar Bears overcome an early deficit.

Scott opened a 15-10 lead, but Woodward outscored the hosts in each of the last three quarters. Andrea Johnson added nine points for Woodward.

Jariesha Dillard led Scott with 18 points.

Rogers 66, Start 38

Cha'Ron Sweeney led Rogers with 15 points in an comfortable home win.

Jasmyne Smith and Akienreh Johnson added 14 points each and Sasha Dailey scored 11 for the Rams.

Torri McDuffie scored 12 points and Dee Hicks added 11 points to lead Start.

Waite 46, Bowsher 34

Kre'Ana Henry scored 28 points and Ramiah Henry added 11 as Waite outlasted Bowsher at home.

Celeste Wade led Bowsher with nine points.

Patrick Henry 47, Napoleon 33

Kelsey Tietje scored 12 points to lead Patrick Henry to a win in the NW Signal Holiday Classic. Katy Hammer added 10 points.

Kayla Gerken paced Napoleon with 10 points.

Wauseon 42, Holgate 26

Alyssa Reed scored 17 points to lead Wauseon to a victory in the Northwest Signal Holiday Classic.

Edon 61, Liberty Center 56

LIBERTY CENTER — Sydney Stoll poured in 27 points to lead Edon.

Niki Meyer and Andrea Weirach both scored 18 points to pace Liberty Center.
