Balances scoring lifts Bulldogs past Indians

Scott 86, Waite 65

Four players scored into double figures as the Bulldogs won at home Friday night in City League boys basketball.

Chris Harris led Scott (2-4, 2-2 CL) with 21 points, while Chris Darrington had 16. Jermal Richardson and Bryson Collins each had 13.

Taywyn Mason tallied 29 points for Waite (0-7, 0-4). Alfred Sanchez added 13 points and Lavarr Robinson added 10.

Start 68, Woodward 52

Dion Ivery scored 21 points and Scottie Hicks added 15 for the visiting Spartans.

Start (4-3, 3-1 CL) outscored the Polar Bears 34-14 in the second and third quarters to pull away.

For Woodward (1-6, 0-4), Tahron Watson had 17 points.

Craig Kirkwood scored 13 and Romoan Fane added 11.

TC ends Edgerton’s streak

Toledo Christian 63, Edgerton 57

BOWLING GREEN — At the Stroh Center, the Eagles ended the Bulldogs’ 34-game regular-season winning streak Friday night in a nonconference boys basketball game.

Toledo Christian (5-1) shot 62 percent from the floor, while Edgerton (6-1) made 53 percent.

The Eagles were led by Cordell Miller with 14 points. Eric Cellier had 13, while Dominique Pittman notched 12 and Melvin Thomas 11.

Ben Riehle led Edgerton with 30 points. Jacob Adams added 13.

Gibsonburg 72, Danbury 31

LAKESIDE — Isaih Arriaga scored 13 to lead the Golden Bears.

Matt Tille talied 11 and Adam Lepley 10 for Gibsonburg.

Dylan Buckley and Hunter Stinchcomb each had eight for the Lakers.

Green Bears, Cardinals roll to easy victories

Ottawa Hills 59,Woodmore 29

ELMORE — Lucas Janowicz scored 21 points and Geoff Beans added 20 points to help Ottawa Hills to an easy win.

The Green Bears raced out to a 38-14 advantage at the half and never looked back.

Brad Flick paced Woodmore with eight points.

Cardinal Stritch 97, Genoa 72

Austin Adams scored 27 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Cardinal Stritch (3-3) to a home win.

Joey Cousino added 20 points for the Cardinals, who raced out to a 30-13 lead after the first quarter.

Luke Rightnowar scored 27 points for Genoa (0-4), while Jake Schimming added 12.

Defiance 59, Rossford 48

Jordan Tobias and Trey Guillian scored 16 points each to lead visiting Defiance.

Mack Miller had 23 points to lead Rossford, who was outscored 39-27 in the second half. Derek Mack added 16 points.

Whiteford 79, Britton-Deerfield 38

OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. — Colin Lake poured in 38 points, inluding six 3-pointers as Whiteford cruised Friday night in Tri-County Conference boys basketball.

The Bobcats raced out to a 30-7 lead after the first quarter.

Zach Perry added 18 points for Whiteford, while Chris Sims chipped in with 10 points.

Devin Gruber paced Britton-Deerfield with 18 points.

Bedford 74, Adrian 55

TEMPERANCE — Jackson Lamb poured in 34 points to lead Bedford (3-0) to a home win.

Jeremy Harris added 12 points for the Mules.

Kyle Hill scored 19 points for Adrian and Brett Bartels added 11 points.

Liberty-Benton 66, Kenton 50

FINDLAY — Zach Garver led the Eagles (3-0) with 18 points, while John Darnall had 17 and Ryan Geise added 15.

Colyn Blackford led Kenton (6-1) with 23 points.

Holgate 52, Stryker 35

HOLGATE — The Tigers (2-4) were led by Landon Grim with 17 points and Mitchell Gonzalez with 13.

For the Panthers (1-5), Hunter Clingaman had 12.

Sandusky Perkins 85, Port Clinton 60

SANDUSKY — Nick Williams led Perkins with 25 points, while Brandon Smith had 14 and Mitchell Benkey adeed 12.

Carter Rumball finished with 19 points to lead Port Clinton (1-5). Nathan Stubblefield added 17 points and Brock Moore 11.

New Riegel 76, Fostoria St. Wendelin 38

FOSTORIA — Brandyn Reinhart led New Riegel (6-1) with 20 points.

Korey Williams added 18 points), Josh Burns 14, and Andrew Hohman 11.

Nick Schumaker led St. Wendelin (2-4, 1-2) with 14 points.

Panthers cruise to win over Eagles; Titans easily defeat Knights

Whitmer 84, Clay 47

Nigel Hayes scored 19 points to lead Whitmer to a comfortable home win Friday night in Three Rivers Athletic Conference boys basketball.

Ricardo Smith scored 14 for the Panthers (4-1, 3-1 TRAC) and Jon Ashe added 13.

Pat Booth led Clay (0-5, 0-3) with 21 points.

St. John's 73, St. Francis 41

Austin Gardner scored 16 points to lead St. John's (5-1) to a runaway win at Owens CC.

Anthony Glover scored 13 points, Marc Loving scored 12 and Tyler Thompson added 10.

Curtis Smith paced St. Francis (0-6) with nine points.

Rosbrock's 17 pace Titans in win over Bobcats

Ottawa-Glandorf 61, Bowling Green 51

BOWLING GREEN —The Titans (4-1) were paced by Michael Rosebrock with 17 points, Noah Bramlage's 15, and TJ Metzger with 14.

O-G hit 15 of 17 free throws and used a 20-8 fourth-quarter to rally to seal the contest after trailing 43-41 through three quarters.

The Bobcats (3-3) — who led 32-26 at the half — were led by Evan Gardner with 16 points. Vitto Brown added 14.
