Findlay races past Whitmer for TRAC win; Central still perfect; TC, Ottawa Hills coast to wins

Findlay 54, Whitmer 36

Nicole Muehl led a balanced Findlay attack with 15 points as the Trojans (13-3, 8-1) won on the road in a Three Rivers Athletic Conference girls basketball game on Thursday night.

Keshyra McCarver scored 12 points to lead Whitmer (11-6, 4-5).

Central Catholic 45, St. Ursula 37

Michelle Murnen scored 20 points to lead the Irish (9-6, 5-3 TRAC) past the Arrows.

Megan Christopher had 14 points to lead St. Ursula (6-9, 1-8).

Notre Dame 64, Fremont Ross 18

FREMONT — Tierra Floyd notched 18 points as the Eagles stayed perfect in the TRAC.

Jayda Worthy added 15 points and Kaayla McIntyre 10 for Notre Dame (12-3, 9-0).

Tajai Pitts led Fremont Ross (4-11, 0-9) with five points.

Lima Senior 50, Clay 39

LIMA — Stacia Allen led all scorers with 17 points, and Indiya Benjamin added 11 as the Spartans won in TRAC play.

Samantha Charchol scored nine points to lead Clay, which trailed 22-15 at halftime.

Toledo Christian 60, Gibsonburg 40

Faith Johnson scored 18 points and Darian Westmeyer added 15 points to help Toledo Christian (14-2, 10-0) to a home Toledo Area Athletic Conference win.

Amanda Shammo paced Gibsonburg (6-10, 4-5) with 12 points.

Ottawa Hills 43, Maumee Valley 15

The Green Bears raced out to a 12-0 lead and never looked back. Michelle Healy had 15 points for Ottawa Hills (9-6, 7-3 TAAC) in the home victory.

The Hawks fell to 0-13 on the season and 0-10 in the conference.

Fayette 50, Edon 34

EDON — Taylor Griffiths led Fayette with 18 points, while also pulling down nine rebounds. Mikayla Smith added 12 points for Fayette (12-3, 6-1 Buckeye Border Conference).

Sydney Stoll paced Edon (4-12, 0-6) with 15 points.

Patrick Henry 49, Montpelier 42

HAMLER — Katy Hammer scored 16 points, Kelsey Tietje added 15, and the Patriots jumped out to a strong start for a Northwest Ohio Athletic League win.

Lauren Dye (14 points), Aleah Maas (13), and Hannah Blake (12) all scored in double digits for the Locomotives.

Swanton 38, Evergreen 33

SWANTON — Maidie Wheeler finished with 11 points and Emily Callicotte 10 as the Bulldogs (8-8, 3-4 NWOAL) won.

Kendalyn Noe hit three 3-pointers and scored 15 to lead Evergreen (8-8, 2-4), which was tied at 23 at halftime. Haili Mossing added 10.

Delta 52, Bryan 42

DELTA — Brigan Wymer poured in 19 points to lead the Panthers (13-4, 4-2 NWOAL).

Hannah Schimmoeller scored 20 points for Bryan (9-7, 2-4), while Makayla Dennis chipped in with 14 points.

Fremont St. Joseph 62, Lakota 34

FREMONT — Cassidy Frank hit five of the Streaks’ nine 3-pointers in scoring 17 points.

Brennan Reardon hit two 3-pointers and finished with 17 points for the Streaks (6-10, 2-4 Midland Athletic League), and Ashley Burns added 11.

Stephanie Miller scored 11 points for the Raiders (2-15, 1-7).
