Swanton upends Toledo Christian; Lumbrezer leads Bulldogs with 19; Wauseon defeats Springfield

Swanton 52, Toledo Christian 45

Swanton outscored host Toledo Christian 30-22 in the second half to win Saturday night in girls basketball.

Bethann Lumbrezer led Swanton (9-8) with 19 points, while Maicie Wheeler added 12.

Darian Westmeyer scored 18 points for Toledo Christian (15-3).

Wauseon 54, Springfield 33

WAUSEON — Annette Stidham scored 12 points, including six in the third quarter, to lead the Indians .

Stidham added 11 rebounds for Wauseon (11-6), which led 23-11 at the half, and allowed just two points in the first quarter.

Destinie Geiger had seven points for Springfield (7-11).

Archbold 41, Holgate 33

ARCHBOLD — The Blue Streaks (16-1) were led by Hannah Hesterman with 10 points.

Marissa Myles poured in 16 for the Tigers (10-6).

Patrick Henry 66, North Baltimore 48

NORTH BALTIMORE — Kelsey Tietje scored 19 points and Rylee Bower added 14 to lead Patrick Henry.

Megan Wright poured in 23 points to lead North Baltimore.

Fayette 45, Montpelier 43

MONTPELIER — The Eagles made their free throws to pull out a close road win.

Mikayla Smith had 12 points for Fayette, while Kaela Seiler had 11.

Hannah Blake led Montpelier with 17 points and Lauren Dye scored 13.

Rogers 66, Chandler Park 29

HARPER WOODS, Mich. — Sasha Dailey scored 20 points to lead the Rams (13-3).

Charon Sweeney added 12 points for Rogers and Marquelle Williams scored 10.

Bamya Toney scored 10 points for Chandler Park (Mich.).

Lima Senior 58, Fremont Ross 35

LIMA — Indiya Benjamin scored 24 and Stacia Allen added 19 for the Spartans (6-4, 10-6).

Abbi Hasselbach had nine for the Little Giants (0-10, 4-12).

Fremont St. Jospeph 45, Gibsonburg 29

GIBSONBURG — Jensen LeJeune scored 13 points and Ashley Burns added 10 to help Fremont St. Jospeh.

Brittney Holcomb led Gibsonburg with nine points.

Ottawa-Glandorf 51, Bryan 35

BRYAN — Kialee Koch led a balanced Ottawa-Glandorf attack with nine points.

Makayla Dennis paced Bryan with 12 points.
