Donnal scores 22, sparks Generals; Bowsher, Bedford, Central win; Limes tops Otsego’s scoring leaders

Anthony Wayne 59, Evergreen 45

METAMORA — Mark Donnal scored 17 of his game-high 22 points in the first and fourth quarters as the Generals won in boys basketball action Tuesday night.

Donnal hit six field goals and 10 free throws. Matt Fox added 15 points for Anthony Wayne (13-2), which led 31-21 at halftime.

Dylan Henricks (nine points), Matt Brighton (nine), Cory Mossing (eight), and Max Oswald (eight) led a balanced offense for Evergreen (12-4).

Bowsher 85, Clay 74

The Rebels hit 13 shots from the 3-point line, jumped to a 21-10 lead through one quarter, then protected that lead on the road.

Aundre Kizer finished with 20 points to lead Bowsher (13-4). Nate Allen added 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Ivan Thomas and Dajuan King both scored 16.

Jack Nagy (26 points, 11 rebounds) and Pat Booth (25 points, 12 rebounds) both had double-doubles for Clay (1-14). Kyle Row scored 12.

Central Catholic 84, Woodward 43

Keith Towbridge scored 15 points and Deontae Cole 13 for the Irish (12-2).

The Polar Bears (2-13) were led by DaMarkus Darrington with 12.

Bedford 58, Saline 47

SALINE — Jackson Lamb scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds as the Mules won in Southeastern Conference play.

Brad Boss finished with 12 points and six assists for Bedford (10-1, 5-0), while Jeremy Harris added four points and 14 rebounds.

Reece Dils and Max Recknagel both scored 13 for Saline (7-5, 1-4).

Emmanuel Christian 42, Danbury 37

LAKESIDE — Ryan Creech poured in 22 points to lead the Warriors (9-6, 4-4) in Toledo Area Athletic Conference play.

Dominic Manuella had 12 and Dylan Buckley added 11 for the Lakers (1-12, 0-8).

Otsego 66, Woodmore 43

TONTOGANY — A.C. Limes became the all-time boys scoring leader at Otsego as the Knights rolled to remain unbeaten in the Northern Buckeye Conference.

Limes, a 6-foot-4 senior center, scored eight points and has 1,101 for his career. John Thomas paced Otsego (14-1, 9-0 NBC) with 14 points while Jalen Myers chipped in with 11.

Donny Bowen powered the Wildcats (6-9, 4-5) with 20 points.

Lake 54, Elmwood 27

MILLBURY — Connor Bowen and Marcus Pierce each scored 12 points for the Flyers (15-2, 7-2 NBC). Jayce Vancena added 10.

Zach Foster’s 10 points topped Elmwood (9-6, 4-5).

Rossford 59, Fostoria 46

Rossford (8-9, 6-3 NBC) was led by Derek Mack and Nate Childress with 12 points and Brian Burks with 10 points.

For the Redmen (2-12, 1-8), Dominique Fuller tallied 24.

Ottawa Hills 68, Northwood 40

Lucas Janowicz scored 24 points, Geoffrey Beans added 17, and R.J. Coil 11 as the Green Bears (11-3, 6-2) rolled to a road TAAC victory.

Northwood (3-12, 1-7), which trailed 35-11 at halftime, got 19 points from Tyler Williams and 12 from John Segura.

Defiance 58, Napoleon 48

DEFIANCE — Trey Guilliam scored half of his game-high 22 points at the free throw line as the Bulldogs pulled away after halftime.

Jordan Lauf scored 10 to lead Napoleon (5-8), which trailed 24-18 at halftime.
