Diller, Lake pace Bobcats to a victory

Whiteford 69,Deerfield 57

BRITTON, Mich. — Troy Diller tossed in 27 points and Colin Lake adde 26 Friday night for the Bobcats in a Tri-County Conference boys basketball game.

Whiteford (9-3, 7-1 TCC) converted 28 of 36 foul shots.

Tristian Pizana led the Patriots with 22 points. Landon Handy and Devin Gruber each had 11 .

Bedford 77,Ann Arbor Huron 65

TEMPERANCE — Jackson Lamb poured in 33 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Mules (11-1, 6-0 Southeastern Conference).

Dennis Guss scored 15 points for Bedford, while Adam Swisher added 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Antonio Henry paced Huron (6-5, 4-2) with 18 points. Xavier Cochran had 14 and Demetrious Sims 10.

Fayette trims Stryker in OT in key Buckeye Border game

Fayette 39, Stryker 31

STRYKER — Fayette hit 11 of 13 free throws in overtime to pull out a victory Friday night in a Buckeye Border Conference boys basketball game.

Stryker's Parker Ruffer hit a 3-pointer with two seconds left in regulation to send the game to OT.

In the extra period the Eagles outscored the Panthers 13-5.

Zayne Colegrove paced Fayette (14-3, 7-0 BBC) with 12 points.

Ruffer led Stryker (7-10, 5-2) with 18 points. Hunter Klingaman added 10.

Edon 53, Pettisville 45

EDON — Kaden Sapp scored 17 points and Jacob Brown added 12 for Edon in a BBC game.

David Reyes led Pettisville with 11 points, while Dominic Frey scored 10.

Sandusky Perkins 65, Port Clinton 45

PORT CLINTON — Nick Williams scored 22 points and Brandon Smith totaled 17 to pace Sandusky Perkins (13-3) in an Sandusky Bay Conference game.

Brock Moore tallied 17 for Port Clinton (3-12).

Liberty-Benton 81,Cory-Rawson 30

FINDLAY — Ryan Geise poured in 20 points and Alec Rhodes added 16 as Liberty-Benton captured a Blanchard Valley Conference win.

Chad Shepler led Cory-Rawson with 12 points.

Golden Bears get scare from Bulldogs

SWANTON — The Golden Bears broke a 27-all tie after the third quarter Friday night to stay unbeaten in the Northwest Ohio Athletic League boys basketball.

Bryan (11-5, 6-0 NWOAL) was led by Austin Martin with 16 points, while Thomas Miller added 12.

Rockey Robinson led the Bulldogs (4-12, 0-6) with 17 points.

Wauseon 69, Delta 52

DELTA — Wauseon outscored Delta 16-3 in the first quarter and cruised to a victory.

Michael Hammons scored 27 points for the Indians (9-7, 4-1) and Collin Bzovi totaled 23.

Micah Mohr paced Delta (10-8, 3-2) with 20 points and Scott Garlinger added 13.

Green Bears top Cardinals; Eagles 9-0 in conference

Ottawa Hills outscored Cardinal Stritch 19-8 in the third quarter to gain a home victory Friday night in Toledo Area Athletic Conference boys basketball.

Geoff Beans paced the Green Bears (12-3, 7-2 TAAC) with 18 points. R.J. Coil added 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Lucas Janowicz scored 13.

Austin Adams led Cardinal Stritch (8-8, 5-4) with nine points.

Toledo Christian 71, Maumee Valley 50

The Eagles led 40-34 at halftime lead and pulled away in the second half.

Eric Cellier led Toledo Christian (14-1, 9-0) with 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.

Jessie White scored 13, Josh Winzeler 11, and Cordell Miller 10, while Dominique Pittman had 10 assists.

Davey Brown had 14 points and for Maumee Valley (9-6, 4-5). Caleb Willhight scored 13 and Solomon Collins added 12.

Northwood 69 Emmanuel Christian 60

Tyler Williams scored 22 and Evan Perkins added 20 to lead Northwood to a road win.

John Sagura also scored 11 for the Rangers (4-12, 2-7).

Ryan Creech poured in 34 points for Emmanuel Christian (9-7, 4-5) and Trent Groenhough added 11.

Gibsonburg 69,Danbury 32

GIBSONBURG — The Golden Bears used balanced scoring to cruise to victory.

Andy Burmeister scored 12, Bryce Ernsthausen and Andrew Cantrell 11, and Tyler Ernsthausen tallied 10 for the Gibsonburg (7-9, 5-4).

Dominic Manuella paced the Lakers (1-13, 0-9) with 10.

Knights go to 10-0 in conference play

Otsego 68, Fostoria 36

TONTOGANY — The Knights stayed unbeaten in Northern Buckeye Conference boys basketball.

Otsego (15-1, 10-0 NBC) used a 23-2 third-quarter edge Friday night to open up a 36-25 halftime lead.

The Knights were led by A.C. Limes with 21 points. Ryan Smoyer had 12 points and 10 rebounds. John Thomas added 10 points.

The Redmen (2-13, 1-9) were paced by Dominique Fuller's nine points.

Lake 58, Rossford 48

The Flyers opened up a 30-17 lead at the break and expanded it to 48-29 by the end of the third quarter.

Connor Bowen pumped in 19 points for Lake (16-2, 8-2).

Jared Rittig added 15 and Ben Swartz 10, while Marcus Pierce hauled in 13 rebounds.

Derek Mack and Nate Childress each had 13 points for the Bulldogs (8-10, 6-4).

Eastwood 63,Woodmore 58

PEMBERVILLE — Jake Schmeltz scored 34 points to pace the Eagles.

Eastwood (6-11, 6-4) used an 18-7 fourth-quarter edge to rally.

Donny Bowen paced Woodmore (6-10, 4-6) with 23 points and Jake Lewandowski added 11.

GENOA — Zach Foster scored 15 points and Derick Mobus added 14 for Elmwood .

Aaron Arnold had 11 points for the Royals (10-6, 5-5).

Panthers edge Yellow Jackets; Hartnett pumps in 38 points as Northview slips past Bowling Green

Maumee 58,Perrysburg 55

Perrysburg missed a last-second 3-point attempt as Maumee held on for a road win Friday night in Northern Lakes League boys basketball.

The game was tied at 34 after three quarters and the Panthers outscored Yellow Jackets 24-21 in the final quarter.

Sean McGovern tallied 15 points to lead Maumee (11-5, 5-5 NLL). Dominique King added 14 and Jason Wanamaker had 12.

Shane Edwards paced Perrysburg (10-6, 6-4) with 17 points, while Nick Moschetti chipped in with 16.

Northview 68, Bowling Green 65

BOWLING GREEN — Connor Hartnett's tallied 38 points to lead the Wildcats (9-8, 4-6).

Mark Bernsdorff added 13 points — including three 3's — for Northview (9-8, 4-6) as it overcame a 28-23 deficit at the break.

Vitto Brown paced the Bobcats (8-9, 6-4) with 25 points. Andrew Herringshaw added 16.

Anthony Wayne 68, Southview 34

The Generals opened the game on a 17-2 run and never looked back.

Mark Donnal scored 23 to lead visiting Anthony Wayne (14-2, 9-1) and Jake Reid added 13.

Matt Morrison and Jeremiah Roberts paced Southview (4-12, 2-8) with 10 points each.

Smith scores 41 points as Panthers rip Knights

Whitmer 73,St. Francis 46

Ricardo Smith fired in 41 points as the Panthers rolled to a victory Friday night in Three Rivers Athletic Conference boys basketball.

Smith connected on 16 of 24 shots including five 3-pointers, and also handed out four assists.

The 6-foot-1 senior guard scored 16 points and in the first half and 16 more in the third quarter, was the only Panther to score in double figures.

Nigel Hayes had nine points and nine rebounds for Whitmer (13-4, 8-2 TRAC).

Pat Szenderski’s 14 points topped the Knights (1-15, 1-9) and Alex Calmes added 10.

Central Catholic 68,Clay 40

The Irish (13-2, 7-2) were led by Deontae Cole with 15 points.

For the Eagles (1-15, 0-10), Jack Nagy took scoring honors with 23.

Central jumped out to a 17-10 lead after the first quarter and led 32-19 at half time.

Fremont Ross 68,Lima Senior 54

FREMONT — The Little Giants got 18 points from Alex Metcalf.

Tyler Wolf and Jarvis Jones each added 11. Jack Gedeon grabbed 11 rebounds for Ross (9-6, 5-5 TRAC).

Rico Stafford’s 18 points led Lima Senior (5-10, 4-6). Isiah Simpson had 15 points and Devon Allen had 11.

Allen’s 22 lead Rebels to win

Bowsher 93, Waite 60

The Rebels overpowered the Indians early, outscoring the visitors 23-13 in the first quarter Friday night in City League boys basketball.

Bowsher (14-4, 6-2 CL) put four players in double figures led by Nate Allen with 22 points.

Cameron White added 17, while Dajuan King and Aundre Kizer added 16 and 13 points, respectively.

Kareem Roberts paced Waite (1-17, 1-7) with 13 points. Kenyatta Bowen scored 12 and Alfred Sanchez 10.

Scott 64, Woodward 36

Chris Harris scoerd 16 points and Chris Darrington had 15 for the Bulldogs.

Bryson Collins added 13 for Scott (9-7, 5-3).

The Polar Bears (2-14, 0-8) were led by Ramon Fane with 10.
