Mack, Childress combine to help Rossford top Genoa

Rossford 95, Genoa 63

Derek Mack scored a game-high 27 points, while Nate Childress had 23 to lead the host Bulldogs past the Comets on Thursday night in a Northern Buckeye Conference boys basketball game.

Mack Miller had 13 and John Hotz 10 for Rossford.

Top scorers for Genoa were Noah Goodrich (16), Casey Gose (13), and Amos Kauder (10).

Elmwood 67, Eastwood 54

BLOOMDALE — Zach Foster poured in 29 points to lead the host Royals past the Eagles.

Mica Robinson scored 15, and Aaron Arnold had 13 points and eight rebounds for Elmwood.

Logan Bess led Eastwood with 16 points, while Jake Schmeltz had 12 and Brent Peters 10.

Woodmore 45, Fostoria 40

ELMORE — Donny Bowen scored a game-high 18 points, and the Wildcats controlled the last two minutes with a 9-2 run to win at home.

Bowen’s free throw and three-point play made the lead four, and Woodmore (7-11, 5-6 NBC) made 5 of 6 free throws late to seal it.

Adonis Cousin led Fostoria (2-16, 1-10) with 14 points.
