Griffiths’ buzzer-beater leads Fayette to victory; Wauseon, Lima Senior, Archbold pick up wins

Fayette 58, Delta 56

FAYETTE — Taylor Griffiths banked in a six-footer with one second left to get the Eagles (17-4) the win. Mikayla Smith scored 20 and Griffiths added 10 for Fayette in a girls basketball nonconference win.

Brigan Wymer netted 26, Abby Harris 13 and Victoria Burda 11 for the Panthers (14-7).

Wauseon 55, Rossford 36

The Indians used 14 points from Alyssa Reed and 12 each from Addie Richer and Annette Stidham to win on the Bulldogs’ court. Wauseon is now 14-7.

Rossford (11-10) was led by 12 pouints from Julie Hotz.

Lima Senior 68, Van Wert 56

LIMA — Indiya Bejamin put in 21 points and now has 1,016 in her career. Stacia Allen scored 20 and Rion Thompson 10 for the Spartans.

The Cougars were led by Alexis Dowdy with 16 and Alexa Dunlap with 13.

Archbold 53, Ottawa-Glandorf 51

OTTAWA — The Blue Streaks (19-1) were paced with 14 points, five rebounds, and five assists from Cassidy Wyse while Darian Oberlin added 13 points — including four 3-pointers.

Hannah Hesterman and Jesse Fidler each added 11 points in the win.

Kristen Miller's 22 points paced the Titans (14-7).
