Harnett’s night helps sink Cougars; Adams has strong effort for Stritch; Springfield, Maumee Valley winners

Connor Hartnett drained five 3-pointers en route to a 38-point eruption to lead the Wildcats past the Cougars in a boys basketball tilt between two Northern Lakes League crosstown rivals.
Jeff Czerniakowski added 16 points and Aerin West finished with 14 in the win for Northview (10-9, 5-7).
Nate Hall paced the Cougars (6-14, 3-9) with a team-high 27 points. Matt Morrison added 15 points and Brandon Stewart 11.
St. John’s 80, Clay 36
Austin Gardner tallied 18, Marc Loving 14, and Tyler Thompson 13 for the host Titans (17-3, 11-1 TRAC).
The Eagles (1-17, 0-12) were led by Pat Booth with 17.
Cardinal Stritch 55, Northwood 42
Austin Adams dominated play with 27 points and 20 rebounds as the Cardinals won at home to advance to 11-8 overall and 8-4 in TAAC play.
Joey Cousino added 12 points for the winners.
Evan Perkins led Northwood with 15 points while Tyler Williams added 12.
Maumee Valley 62, Danbury 30
The host Hawks breezed to victory at home as Davey Brown scored 14 points and Lucas Isaza 10. Maumee Valley now is 10-8 overall, 6-7 in TAAC play.
Dylan Buckley paced Danbury (1-15, 0-12) with 11 points.
Whitmer 77, Lima Senior 55
Ricardo Smith scored 14 and Nick and Nate Holley each had 10 for the Panthers (15-5, 10-2) in the home win.
Devon Allen poured in 22 for the Spartans (7-13, 4-8).
Bowling Green 70, Napoleon 68
NAPOLEON — The Bobcats (11-9, 7-4 NLL) slipped out of an 18-11 deficit after the first quarter, spurred on by a 40-31 run over the middle quarters.
Vitto Brown's 23 led the way for Bowling Green while Andrew Herringshaw added 20, and LaMonta Stone had 17.
The Wildcats (6-12, 2-10) got a game-high 35 points from Jordan Lauf while Blake Dunbar chipped in 12.
Woodward 64, Lima Perry 50
Demarkus Darrington scored a career-high 23 points in the Polar Bears (3-17) home victory while Tahron Watson added 13.
The Commodores raced out to a 17-9 lead after the first quarter, but Woodward stormed back in the second hafl with a pair of wo-point quarters while holding Lima Perry (6-13) to just 23 points.
Bruce Hodges led the Commodores with 19 points in defeat while Jared Poling had 18.

ELMORE — Three players scored in double figures for the Flyers (18-2, 10-2 NBC), topped by Connor Bowen’s 21 points. Jayce Vancena provided 13 and Jared Rettig 10.
Matt Haar’s 18 points led the Wildcats (7-12, 5-7) with Brad Flick getting 11 and Jake Lewandowski 10.

The Blue Devils defend their floor behind the scoring of Curtis Hassell (16), Marquan Hodges (13), and Markese Hicks (12).
The Panthers were led by Dominique King with 19 and Jason Wanamaker with 14

Nate Harris pumped in a game-high 17 points to lead the Irish to a victory over the Little Giants.
Keith Towbridge and C.J. Bussey added 12 points each for the hosts.
Jack Gedeon led Ross with 13 points.

FINDLAY — Mike Clark led the Trojans past the Knights by scoring a game-high 20 points.
Adam Twining added 14 points, Austing Gutting 12, and Joseph Davidson 11.

Josh Winzeler led the way with a team-high 24 points for the host Eagles.
Eric Cellier scored his 1,000th career point en route to pumping in 19 points on the night for TC.
Ryan Chreech led EC with 15 points.

Tony Kynard provided a game-high 20 points, including three 3-pointers, to lead the Rams to the non-league overtime win.
Clemmye Owens added 13 points and DeVonte Pratt finished with 10.
Demetrius Rose led Detroit Community with 16 points.
Ottawa Hills 64, Gibsonburg 49
GIBSONBURG — R.J. Coil and Geoff Beans combined for 42 points to lead the Green Bears.
Coil produced a triple-double, scoring a game-high 22 points to go along with 17 rebounds and 10 blocked shots. Beans swished three 3-pointers and finished with high 20 points.
Tyler Ernsthausen led the Golden Bears with 19 points.

OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. — Justin Webter scored a game-high 17 points to lead Madison.
Colin Lake led the Bobcats with 16 points.

GENOA — A.C. Limes had 18 and Ryan Smoyer and John Thomas each had 17 points for the Knights.
Luke Rightnowar scored 17 and Noah Goodrich added 12 for the Comets.
